G-Dragon Reveals World Tour
G-Dragon has teased his upcoming world tour “übermensch” 2025, which will promote his new solo album of the same name.
He announced the tour today (February 6) via his personal page on Instagram, accompanied by an advertising poster featuring his silhouette. Details regarding the specific tour stops, dates, and venues will be revealed in the publication.
Details about the Tour
The “übermensch” world tour will mark G-Dragon’s third solo world tour, and it will be his first in seven years. According to Korea Joongang Daily, his last tour, “Act III: M.O.T.T.E” in 2017, attracted 654,000 fans across 36 shows, setting a record for the highest attendance by a K-Pop solo artist at that time.
New Album Release
The upcoming tour will coincide with G-Dragon’s return to solo music with his third full-length album “übermensch” set to drop on February 25. This record, announced earlier this week, marks his first project in seven years and is his first studio album since the 2013 “Coup D’état.”
Prior to this announcement, G-Dragon released two new singles in 2024: “Power” and “Home Sweet Home,” featuring fellow Big Bang members Daesung and Taeyang.
G-Dragon debuted as the leader of YG Entertainment boy band Big Bang in 2006. He began his solo career in 2009 with his studio album “Heartbreaker,” followed by the EP “One of a Kind” and the album “Coup D’état.” These releases produced several hits, including “Crayon,” “Crooked,” and “These Days.”
