Now Curtis has shared her memories of the late artist. Posting on Instagram on Friday (January 31), Curtis shared a photo of Faithfull with Sinéad O’Connor, who also passed away in 2023.

“This is the second time I am posting this picture,” Curtis explained. “The first was on the day that Sinéad died. I never printed it because Marianne’s eyes were closed, but when Sinéad passed, I found a contact sheet and quickly made the print. I can’t access my photo files right now because of the fires, and I just heard that Marianne had died today.

“She was a great friend of my friend John Bormann, and she was an incredible artist and woman. This is a significant loss,” she continued. “When I can access my photo files, I will find her best photo. We attended a music festival in Dublin to see Eminem, and that memory is now a cherished one.”
