New Video Release
Sam Fender has unveiled a new video for “People Are Watching”, the title track from his upcoming third album set to be released on February 21.
Collaboration with Andrew Scott
The video features award-winning actor Andrew Scott, renowned for his performances in “All of Us Strangers”, “Ripley”, and “Uncle Vanya”. Directed by Stewart McIntyre, the video was filmed in Long Beach, California.
“Sam’s masterpiece became a genuine companion for me. Working on this project was incredibly cathartic, and I will always be thankful to Sam for his extraordinary talent and to the other artists involved in making this film. Of course, I hold my mother close to my heart during this process,” shares Scott.
Fender expresses his excitement: “I’m thrilled that the video for ‘People Are Watching’ is being released to the world this week. I was ecstatic when I found out that Andrew wanted to participate—I’ve been a big fan of his, and he was absolutely perfect for this role.”
Upcoming Tour
Recently, the singer released a new single as well. Discussing the track, Fender explains: “It originated from one of those magical moments where inspiration just strikes, and the song practically falls from the sky. It’s about being carefree and easygoing, yet also captures the essence of a pop-friendly banger that I adore.”
“People Are Watching” will be released through Capitol Records, with £1 from every ticket sold on the stadium tour going to selected cultural organizations, including youth music initiatives and Sammy Sunday, to support the arts in North East England.
