Louis Tomlinson Attends Zayn Malik’s Concert in LA, Marking Their First Public Reunion Since Liam Payne’s Funeral

Louis Tomlinson Attends Zayn Malik’s Show

Louis Tomlinson appeared on Zayn Malik’s show in Los Angeles at the beginning of this week.

The One Direction singer was in the crowd to see his former group in a temple hall during their first public reunion after Liam Payne’s funeral in November last year.

Payne passed away on October 16 last year after falling from the balcony of the third floor at the Casasur Palermo Hotel.

Upon recognizing Tomlinson’s presence, Malik addressed the audience: “My old friend is here. I don’t want to disclose his location, but Louis is with us tonight.”

Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson were among those who attended Payne’s funeral last year.

The private service took place in the town of Amersham in Buckinghamshire, northwest of London, near the village of Chalfont St. Giles, where Payne resided.

After Payne’s passing, Styles referred to his late bandmate as a “beautiful friend,” stating: “I am truly devastated by the loss of Liam. His greatest joy was making others happy, and it was an honor to be near him.” Malik expressed, “Liam, I find myself speaking aloud to you, hoping you can hear me. I selfishly wish for many more conversations in our lives.”

“I must thank you for supporting me through some of the toughest times. When I missed home as a 17-year-old, you were always there with a positive attitude and a reassuring smile, reminding me that I was loved,” he added.

Horan noted that Payne radiated energy and passion for life that was contagious, stating, “He was the brightest in every room and always made everyone feel joyful and secure,” while Tomlinson remarked that he “lost his brother.”

Earlier this month, the coroner’s court in Buckinghamshire confirmed that Payne’s death was due to “acute trauma” resulting from multiple traumatic injuries sustained.

In other news, Payne’s friend Roger Noreste has recently filed a federal lawsuit for defamation against the late star’s father.
