Kelly Clarkson’s Kellioke Segment
Kelly Clarkson examined the single Billie Eilish 2024 “Bird Feathers” for her continuing “Kellioke” segment on Show Kelly Clarkson. The field sees the performance below.
Grammy Nominations and Performance
The “Bird Feathers,” which is up for the recording of the year and the song of the year at the upcoming Grammy Awards this Sunday (February 2), received a classic performance by Clarkson and her group.
Keeping the original dreamy indie chorus of the song, Clarkson showcases her soaring vocal range, finishing on a high note. This marks the second Eilish song that Clarkson has covered, the first being the 2021 hit “Happier Than Ever.” Watch it below.

Kellyoke has seen Clarkson cover artists such as Weezer, Chappell Roan, The Last Shadow Puppets, and My Chemical Romance, among others. It also led to Clarkson releasing an EP of cover songs in 2022.
Streaming Success and Upcoming Performance
Earlier this month, it was reported that “Bird Feathers” was the top streaming song on Spotify in 2024, outpacing Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” by 650,000 streams, with a total of 1,774,525,704 listens on the platform.
Eilish’s track has also reached number two on the official UK Singles Chart and is in the same position on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States.
This weekend, “Hit Me Hard and Soft” will compete in seven Grammy categories—beyond the best song categories, it is also nominated for album of the year, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Dance Pop Recording. See the full list of nominees here.
Later today, Eilish will perform at Fireaid, a charitable concert in response to recent wildfires in Los Angeles, alongside Finneas, Gracie Abrams, Earth, Wind & Fire, John Mayer, and others.
