Tribute to Niam Jobson
A tribute was made following the passing of DJ and producer Niam Jobson at the age of 22.
The news of the Scottish DJ, producer, audio engineer, and radio host’s death was shared by her family. She passed away on January 17 in Hong Kong.
In their statement, the family referred to Jobson as “an extremely gifted, talented, intuitive, wise, fiercely smart, funny, brilliant, stunningly beautiful legend of a girl,” expressing that her loss has caused them “irresistible pain.”
Life and Career
Born in Hong Kong, Jobson spent her childhood on the island of Eigg, a small Scottish isle with a population of just 100. She later relocated to Glasgow, where she began her journey in the music industry, working at the renowned Sub Club.
