Bells Sani has unveiled their nostalgic new single “Want to start a group?” along with details about their upcoming US Tour.

Nostalgic Sound and Lyrics
The eccentric track features noise, sharp guitars, and lyrics such as: “Twenty years ago in ‘kicks of vision / straight,’ like ninety-six / all I have ever wanted to dream / do you want to start a group with me?” reminiscing about the early days of the duo.
Inspiration Behind The Track
In a recent statement, lead singer Alexis Krauss shared, “In 2008, while dining in a Brooklyn restaurant with my mother, our server Derek asked me, ‘Do you want to start a group?’ It’s hard to believe that almost 17 years later, we are still creating and obsessively jotting down notes together.”

She elaborated, “Derek started experimenting with the riff for this song around 2014—it needed significant work, but there was a spark. By then, we had formed a group, though we were unsure how long it would last. This song serves as a reminder of our beginnings, but it also marks the start of a new story we’re excited to share soon!”
Upcoming US Tour 2025
Along with “Want to start a group?”, Sleigh Bells has announced their upcoming tour in the United States. The tour kicks off on May 7 at Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix, Arizona, and will traverse the US with stops in cities including San Francisco, Seattle, Denver, Dallas, Austin, Tampa, Orlando, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Boston, New York, Chicago, and others, concluding on June 15 at Majestic Theater in Madison, Wisconsin.
