Robbie Williams Achieves New Milestone
Robbie Williams has secured his 15th album number 1 in the UK with “Best Man (Original Soundtrack for the Film),” matching The Beatles’ record for the most number 1 albums in the UK.
Record-Breaking Accomplishments
This achievement further solidifies Williams’ record as a solo artist with the most number 1 albums in the UK. When considering his time with Take That, the total number of albums that have topped the British charts now stands at 20, positioning him just behind Paul McCartney in the overall number of chart-toppers in an artist’s catalog.
“I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported both the album and the film. It’s a tremendous honor to reach my 15th number 1 album in the UK. I never take my fans’ support for granted, and I feel immensely proud of the film “Best Man.” Knowing that the album with its soundtrack has achieved first place makes this moment even more special,” expressed Williams.
The “Best Man (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack),” released under Columbia Records, features new renditions of Williams’ classics, reimagined and arranged for the film, including tracks like “Angels” and “She’s The One.” Notably, the album also includes “Forbidden Road,” which has been nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song.
