During the weekend, Smith took to social media to announce the single, which he has been teasing since the beginning of the month. According to Smith, the song is set to be released on January 30 and will feature Big Sean.
The visual style of the song is heavily inspired by The Matrix, and the actor shared his personal take by recreating some of the film’s most iconic scenes. Last night (January 26), Smith posted a trailer for “Beautiful Scars” on social media, in which Smith and Big Sean reenact the famous “red or blue pill” scene.
