New Album Announcement
Screaming Ankles have unveiled their latest album 'Hard Times Furious Dancing' alongside a new single titled 'Raoul'. For additional information, see below.
The album marks the experimental dance-punk quartet's fourth release and is scheduled to drop on March 28 via Leaf (Pre-Save/Preorder Here).
Its title is derived from Alice Walker's poetry collection Hard times call for fierce dancing, with Walker being quoted in the press release: “We can still hold the line of beauty, shape and beat. No small achievements in a world as complex as this… tough times call for fierce dancing. Each of us is proof.”
New Single and Music Video
As part of the announcement, Screaming Ankles presented the first glimpse of the album with their captivating disco-punk single “Raul.” The accompanying music video is equally disorienting, filmed with what seems to be a vintage video camera and featuring unsettling Halloween masks.
