Matt Maltese is back with a fresh single “Anytime, anywhere, in any case” released under The Orchard label.

This track delves into the enduring influence certain individuals have on our lives, set against a backdrop of intricate instrumentation. “I think for each of us, there are people who occupy a certain unknowable place in our brain… a place that we don’t quite control,” Maltese shares. “People who have influenced you so deeply that you almost still live with them, remembering and imagining them against your will. And this song discusses that and also the physical (sorry) side of it.”
This release comes on the heels of Maltese’s extensive touring schedule in 2024, which included a sold-out performance at London’s Brixton Electric. Last year, he also unveiled a cover album, Songs That Aren’t Mine, featuring collaborations with Dora Jar and Liana Flores.
