The Horrors Explore What Matters in Their New Single “More Than Life”

New Single Release

Horror has unveiled their latest single, “Larger than life”, from their upcoming sixth album “Nightlife”.

Upcoming Album Details

This track becomes the fourth single from the album, slated for release on Fiction Records on March 21. It follows a series of sold-out shows across the UK in late 2023, including a performance at London’s ICA.

“More Than Life brings a different intensity compared to our recent singles, feeling more driving and direct. Written in the heart of Canary Wharf, which increasingly resembles Blade Runner, this environment can be quite challenging for creativity,” the band members shared.

“As we were finalizing songs for the album before heading to Los Angeles for recording at Yves’ studio, we found ourselves in a somewhat isolated phase where it felt like the outside world had faded away. Ultimately, the song reflects on what truly matters to you, and by that point, we had a clearer vision of our direction.”

“Night Life” signifies a significant evolution in the band’s journey, now functioning as a core duo with vocalist Faris Badwan and bassist Rhys Webb, complemented by new members Amelia Kidd on keyboards and Jordan Cook from Telegram on drums.
