Central Cee’s New Single Release
Central Cee has unveiled an impressive new single, “GBP,” featuring 21 Savage – take a look below.
Track Details and Anticipation
Central Cee dropped the track last night (January 16) shortly after teasing it earlier in the day. The song is slated to be part of Sencha’s highly awaited debut album, Can’t Rush Greatness, which is set to launch on January 24 via Columbia Records. It is available for pre-order and pre-save on digital streaming platforms..
In the song, Central Cee and 21 Savage exchange sharp and clever verses that showcase their unique styles and the contrasts between British drill and American trap rap – despite 21’s London roots, he was raised in Atlanta.
Xi raps about his unwavering connection to the streets, while 21 asserts his readiness to step in if trouble arises. Senche raps, “If I pay a man a hundred thousand pounds, I can buy a man bun in front of the crowd. This is pounds sterling.” before 21 adds: “The price will go up if it’s US dollars/Better watch your words, I’ll give you an X on the shit you tweet/I told little brother if it’s personal, he better jump out and do it on his feet.”
