BBGirls Make a Joyful Comeback as a Trio with New Single “LOVE 2”

K-pop girl group BBGirls, previously known as Brave Girls, has returned with their latest single “LOVE 2.”

Music Video Release and Concept

On January 15, BBGirls unveiled the music video for their new single “LOVE 2,” which was released simultaneously. The video opens with the members exploring a complex network of tin can phones. Each participant follows the threads connected to them and eventually reunites.

“In a place where no one knows us / Let's start our story, just the two of us / Fill it with good stories? / Aren't you excited about the story we'll write together?” – they sing in unison.

Significant Changes for BBGirls

“LOVE 2” marks the first music release for BBGirls as a trio following member Youjoung’s departure in April 2024. This is also the group’s initial offering under Grandline Group (GLG), with whom they signed in December 2024 after parting ways with Warner Music Korea.

“Good things happened to us, but we kept wondering why bad things kept happening,” member Yoona reflected on their challenging career during an interview with the magazine. Leader Minyoung stated, “We want to show that we will never die and that we will continue to be active as a veteran girl group. There aren't many girl groups from the third generation K-pop era, and we want to be a symbol of hope for people and prove that hard work truly pays off.”

BBGirls initially debuted in 2011 under the name Brave Girls with Brave Entertainment. Throughout their journey, the group faced numerous line-up changes and extended pauses but later achieved remarkable popularity in 2021 when their 2017 single “Rollin” went viral. After departing from Brave Entertainment in early 2023, they rebranded as BBGirls.
