Thoughts on Performances

The iconic Beatles drummer, who recently launched his 21st album, Look Up, shared this experience in a recent interview with Sunday Times. He explained why he no longer tries to introduce fresh tracks during his performances.

“I would buy one song. And some of them were really good, you know, ‘With a Little Help from My Friends’ and ‘Yellow Submarine.’ They are still popular and I still tour with them. They wrote me a lot of really good songs.”

He also recently shared the advice he gave Rohan, telling Ankler: “I just try to calm her down and say, ‘Look, it’s okay. Everything is fine. Do what you want. Don’t listen to anyone.
