Blondshell has announced a world tour for 2025, which will include performances in the UK and Ireland to promote their second album, “If you had asked for a photograph.”
Upcoming Album Details
The highly anticipated album, set to be released via Partisan Records on May 2, was crafted in collaboration with producer Yves Rothman and follows their debut album from 2023. The first single titled “T&A” has already been unveiled, accompanied by a video directed by Hannah Bohn.
Album Inspiration
The album’s name draws inspiration from Mary Oliver’s 1986 poem “Dogfish”. “There’s a part of the poem that says, ‘I don’t need to tell you everything I’ve been through. It’s just another story of someone trying to survive,” Sabrina Teitelbaum shares. “What I love about songs is that they capture a snapshot of a person or relationship, and conveying that story can be just as significant as attempting to portray the entirety. Sometimes it’s even a truer representation of the whole picture than if I wrote it all down.”
“The first record feels black and white to me. This new recording poses even more questions,” Teitelbaum reflects.
