Check Out Skunk Anansie’s Incredible New Single “An Artist Is An Artist”!

New Single Release

Skunk Anansie have unveiled their latest single “An Artist Is An Artist” – you can listen to it below.

This track signifies Skin and Co’s first musical offering in nearly three years, following their 2022 releases “Piggy” and “Can’t Take You Anywhere.” It was produced and co-written by David Sitek (TV on the Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeah, Foals).

Upcoming Projects

As stated in a press release, “An Artist…” serves as “a surprise first taste of what the band will be releasing in 2025.”

“(Sitek’s) name seemed to be on a lot of records that we liked,” Skene elaborated. “But none of the records sounded the same. All the records sounded fresh, yet every artist retained their individuality.”

Guitarist Ace mentioned: “He basically reminded us that the process of making music doesn’t have to be that challenging. That realization is rare when starting a band, so it was a fantastic reminder, and he helped us nail it right from the start.”

The new single is accompanied by a vibrant official video – check it out above.

Skunk Anansie hinted at an “exciting new era” with the announcement of their 2025 UK tour last autumn.

“We’re excited to be back on tour doing what we love most—performing live with passion,” Skene communicated in a previous statement. “This tour will be a completely new project and we can’t wait to share it with the UK.”
