The British-Nigerian artist Yinka Ilori will design engraved artwork for all 700 records, while public submissions for cover designs will be accepted from January 13 to February 28, 2025.

“We at War Child are excited to unveil the launch of yet another Secret 7″ competition, continuing a remarkable creative journey,” remarks Charlotte Nimmo, Fundraising Director at War Child UK. “Every year, exceptional artists from around the world join forces to produce 700 genuinely unique records, raising funds that will allow us to protect, educate, and support children whose lives have been overshadowed by wars in which they played no part.”

Now in its ninth edition, this initiative has previously showcased artists like Sir Anish Kapoor, Yoko Ono, Sir Peter Blake, David Shrigley, and Ai Weiwei. Since its launch in 2012, Secret 7″ has generated over £700,000 for various charities through the sale of 5,600 unique records. For more information, visit secret-7.co.uk.
