New Single Release
Silverstein has unveiled their latest single “Don’t let me get too low”, which will feature on their forthcoming album.
Upcoming Album Details
This track precedes “Anti-blooming”, the first part of a double album alongside “Pink Moon”, both set to drop in 2025 with the first release on February 21st. The albums were crafted in Joshua Tree and produced by Sam Guayana at Fireside Sound.
“Don't Let Me Get Too Low combines our classic sound with pop-punk and hardcore elements,” explains frontman Shane Told. “This song is challenging to describe because it does so much in just 3 minutes. Shooting the video was a blast: we were in the desert near Las Vegas, and I was humorously digging my own grave. Thankfully, no police showed up to question us, which could have made for an awkward conversation.”
Guitarist Paul Marc Rousseau adds: “Sometimes the only person who can save you from yourself is… yourself? At least, that’s the message of the lyrics. If you watch the video, you’ll see it’s actually the opposite. Regardless, creating this song was enjoyable. Some ideas came to us quickly, while others took time to develop. I do love when the entire room buzzes with just 10 seconds of music for two hours. It feels incredibly significant but also absurd. That’s the beauty of writing concise pieces: making every second count, and I believe we accomplished that here. Zero seconds wasted, 100% fireworks.”
