Carlos Santana Delays Las Vegas Residency Following Finger Injury from Fall

Carlos Santana Postpones Residency

Carlos Santana has had to reschedule his upcoming Las Vegas residency due to a broken finger sustained in a fall.

Performance Schedule Affected

The iconic guitarist was set to perform a series of eight shows at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino from January 22 to February 2, but those performances are now on hold.

According to his manager, Michael Vrionis, Santana suffered a “bad fall” while walking at his vacation home in Kauai, Hawaii, resulting in a broken little finger on his left hand. “He had to put pins in his finger,” Vrionis explained (via Consequence).

No details have been released regarding a new schedule for the shows.

“Carlos is doing well and he really wants to return to the stage soon,” Vrionis shared. “He just needs to recover. Santana is truly sorry for having to postpone his upcoming appearances, but accidents happen, and his health comes first. He looks forward to seeing all his fans soon.”
