With the initial set of tickets for Glastonbury 2025 having sold out back in November and the first acts confirmed, here’s everything you need to know about this year’s festival.
Last year, Dua Lipa made her debut on the Pyramid Stage, Coldplay captivated the audience with special guests, and SZA concluded the festival with a stunning, dynamic performance.
Additionally, Avril Lavigne brought a wave of pop-punk nostalgia to one of the largest crowds of the weekend, Kasabian made an ultimately not-so-secret appearance, and Shania Twain entertained the audience with a country-pop set in the legends slot, complete with fireworks.
As 2026 will be a fallow year for the festival, this year’s lineup is expected to be substantial. Here’s all the information you need to secure your tickets for 2025, along with everything else we know about Glastonbury 2025.
When and where will Glastonbury 2025 tickets go on sale? When will there be a re-sale?
Bus and ticket packages for Glastonbury 2025 sold out in just 32 minutes when they were released on Thursday, November 14. General tickets went on sale on Sunday, November 17, and were gone within 35 minutes.
Tickets for the Somerset festival are notoriously hard to come by. In 2024, ticket and bus packages disappeared in 25 minutes, while the overall ticket sale sold out in under an hour.
If you don’t get tickets in the first round, resale tickets—those not claimed by fans or outstanding balances—usually become available in the spring following the lineup announcement. Last year, the bus and ticket resale options were gone in just 18 minutes, and general admission resale tickets sold out in 22 minutes.
This comes after reports that Glastonbury 2024 had the “highest percentage of paid ticket balances ever,” indicating that there were a “very limited number” of resale tickets, according to festival organizer Emily Eavis.
How much do Glastonbury 2025 tickets cost?
As announced earlier this month, general admission tickets will be priced at £373.50 plus a £5 booking fee, marking an increase of £18.50 from 2024. If you choose to buy a bus ticket, an additional fare will apply based on your destination.
A £75 deposit will be required at the time of purchase, along with the bus fare if you book a bundled bus and ticket option. The remaining balance is due during the first week of April 2025.
How do I register for Glastonbury 2025 tickets?
As always, registration is necessary before purchasing tickets. You’ll need to provide basic contact information and a passport-sized photo. Registration for 2025 is currently open here, with a deadline of 17:00 GMT on Monday, November 11.
If you registered prior to 2020 and plan to attempt to secure tickets this year, confirm that you have active registration. You can verify it here.
What changes have been made to the ticketing process?
This year, the festival has implemented a queuing system for ticket sales.
Instead of constantly refreshing the page in hopes of accessing the booking page, individuals present on the page will now be randomly assigned their place in line when ticket sales begin.
According to the official festival website, “Anyone who logs in after the sale starts will be automatically added to the back of the queue, so it’s crucial to be online at least a few minutes before the sale opens.”
Reactions to the new queuing mechanism were varied, with one prospective attendee calling it “my new enemy”, while another commented on the tedium of repetitive page refreshes every few seconds.
Instead of seeing a number that indicates their queue position, users could track their status via a gray progress bar, where more green blocks appeared as they moved up the queue.
Additionally, the festival has introduced Google Payments and Apple Pay options for the first time.
When is Glastonbury 2025?
Sticking to Glastonbury tradition, the 2025 festival is scheduled for the last weekend of June, running from Wednesday, June 25 to Sunday, June 29 at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset.
