Myles Kennedy Hints at Upcoming Album from Slash and Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators: ‘This Is Truly Exciting!’

Myles Kennedy Announces Upcoming Album

Myles Kennedy has shared exciting news about his band’s new album with Slash, highlighting that the material written so far is “really exciting stuff.”

Collaboration with Slash and The Co-Conspirators

Slash and Myles Kennedy and The Co-Conspirators were established after the 2010 release of the Guns N’ Roses guitarist’s debut solo album, which featured the Alter Bridge frontman on two tracks. The band has released “Apocalyptic Love” in 2012, “World On Fire” in 2014, “Living The Dream” in 2018, and “4” in 2022.

In an interview with SiriusXM Trunk Nation with Eddie Trunk, Kennedy discussed the band’s forthcoming album, revealing that songwriting commenced before his solo tour last month.

“The easiest thing is recording; the hardest thing is writing,” he stated, as reported in the transcript from Talker.

“(Slash) sent me demos of tunes. Then I spent time with him, coming up with melodies and lyrics. That’s all – I think, except for one song. Now I just need to find a moment to get into the studio and everything, get over it.”

“But I will say that even in the demo process and in the state we were in before they started making the record, it’s really exciting stuff. I’m very, very excited about where this is going. It’ll be cool.”

Kennedy’s Solo Tour and Other Projects

Kennedy has been performing as a solo artist this year following the October release of his third album, The Art Of Letting Go. Meanwhile, Slash is engaged in various projects and is also planning a Guns N’ Roses tour for 2025.

Earlier this month, Alice Cooper, his daughter Calico, and Slash collaborated to create a motorcycle-themed children’s song titled “Freewheelin.”

However, 2024 has also brought sorrow for Slash, as his stepdaughter Lucy-Blue Knight tragically passed away in July at the age of 25.
