This special moment took place on December 14 at the MTELUS Performing Arts Center in Montreal.
A special introduction
Prior to bringing the TOPS singer to the stage, Waterhouse dubbed the band “the coolest band in Montreal” and described their 2015 single “Anything” as “one of my favorite songs.”
She expressed her admiration, saying, “I’m honestly so in love with this whole band,” before formally introducing Penny to perform the track alongside her. The following evening in Toronto, Waterhouse performed the song once more, this time solo.
In an Instagram video of the performance, Penny expressed her gratitude towards Waterhouse, referring to her as “an absolute gem of a person and a true rock star.” Check it out below.
