The Stylistics Enlist Shania Twain and Justin Hawkins of The Darkness for Their First Album in Nearly 20 Years.

The Stylistics have revealed their first new album in almost 20 years, featuring collaborations with Shania Twain and Justin Hawkins of The Darkness.

New Album Announcement

The iconic Philadelphia soul ensemble was a mainstay on the album and singles charts in the 1970s, known for timeless classics like “You Make Me Feel Brand New,” “I’m Stone In Love With You,” “Can’t Give You Anything (But My Love),” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”

Now, after 56 years since their formation and 17 years since their last album, “That Same Way,” they are set to release a new album titled “Falling In Love With My Girl.”

Release Details

The album is set to drop on February 21, 2025, and will be teased through its lead single, “Yes I Will,” co-written and performed by Shania Twain, debuting on February 14.

Vocalist Airrion Love shared his enthusiasm for collaborating with Twain: “I fell in love with Shania Twain the first time I heard ‘You’re Still the One,’ a fantastic song that I still adore. When we learned there was a chance to work on something together, we exclaimed, ‘Hell yes!’”

Shania Twain expressed her excitement as well: “I’m so thrilled that the song I wrote, ‘Yes I Will,’ found a home on The Stylistics’ album. It’s a very special song that originated on a memorable day at my house while I was enjoying some time with friends and musicians. I believe it turned out beautifully, and I’m eager to share it with everyone.”
