On December 20, the Recording Academy revealed further nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards. In these latest updates, both artists have been honored with the award for Best Recording Package for their contributions as art directors on “Brat” and “F-1 Trillion.”
Competing with Notable Artists
Both albums were already nominated in this category, but neither Charli nor Post were included as eligible nominees in the initial announcement.
Now, they will be competing against Kate Bush, who received her first Grammy nomination in almost 30 years for her work as art director on “Hounds of Love: A Baskerville Edition.”
This latest update has brought Charli’s total nominations for the upcoming event to eight, including Record of the Year for “360” and Album of the Year for the cultural phenomenon “Brat.”
On the other hand, Malone boasts seven nominations, including Best Country Album and Song of the Year due to his collaboration with Taylor Swift on “Fortnight.” Their track is featured on Swift’s 11th studio album, which follows the Grammy-winning “Midnights” from 2022.
The “Circles” singer was recently announced as the Sunday night headliner at Coachella 2025, where he will be sharing the stage with Lady Gaga and Green Day.
The festival is set to take place from April 11 to 13 and April 18 to 20, featuring performances from notable artists including Missy Elliott, Megan Thee Stallion, and solo acts from BLACKPINK’s Lisa and Jennie, along with XCX. Her June release “Brat” has been recognized as a cultural milestone, being named album of the year by NME.
Recognized as a cultural phenomenon, “Brother” was quite the spectacle. Yet the album “Brat” stands out—not just the record behind the release but rather the exceptional music driving its marketing strategy,” stated NME.
“Charli, as a songwriter and lyricist, has navigated the realm between challenging bravado and raw vulnerability throughout her career. “Brother” excels effortlessly, delivering powerful expressions that remain deeply human. This album is not only Charli’s zenith but also sets a new standard for contemporary pop music.”
The summer tour for “Brat” is gearing up for a second run in 2025. Following in the footsteps of Primavera, Charli has been confirmed as the lead act for Parklife’s new edition next year, alongside performing at London’s LIDO Festival, where she is set to deliver an unforgettable show.
Additionally, she plans to perform two outdoor concerts in Belfast and Dublin, take the stage at Coachella 2025, and has also announced a US tour slated for April and May.
