HotWax Contemplates Their Turbulent Behavior in New Single “I Wanna Be A Doll”

New single release

Hot wax has just dropped a new single “I want to be a doll”, taken from their forthcoming debut album “Hot shock”.

About the upcoming album

This track precedes the band's first full-length album, set to release on March 7 via Marathon Artists. The song has been a staple in their recent performances as they supported The Libertines and Warmduscher.

“It was the first song we composed for the album; we rewrote it multiple times, and it ended up closely resembling the original version, which seems to be a recurring theme,” shares vocalist Tallulah Sim-Savage. “In this song, I portray myself from someone else’s perspective, recognizing my flawed—occasionally harmful—traits.”
