Music AI Collaborates with Audible Magic to Develop Tool for Replacing Music in TV, Film, and Video Content.

Music AI Partners with Audible Magic

Music AI, an artificial intelligence-based audio technology company, has partnered with Audible Magic to assist film and TV production companies in managing music licensing.

Sound Magic is a California-based company that provides content identification services to social networks, record labels, music publishers, and television and film studios.

Music AI and Sound Magic will collaborate to offer a tool that utilizes artificial intelligence to separate audio tracks and identify music, simplifying the process of reusing or replacing music for content releases in various regions.

“When content is created under specific licensing agreements in one region, releasing that content in a new territory can pose complex legal and logistical hurdles,” Music AI stated in a blog post on Tuesday (Dec. 10).

With Music AI’s cinematic audio separation technology, users will be able to deconstruct video soundtracks into individual components such as dialogue, background noise, and music, allowing for the replacement of music when necessary.

The partnership is aligned with both companies’ aim of establishing an “ethical ecosystem” for the future of audio innovation, including the use of artificial intelligence.

“We’re creating an ecosystem of all these companies that, while making sure we’re doing everything right, are at the forefront of innovation.”
