SXSW Announces New Artists

SXSW has revealed over 160 additional artists for the upcoming 2025 festival, scheduled to occur in Austin, Texas from March 10-15.

Notable Additions

Prominent new acts include jasmine.4.t, Jen and the Degenerates, Famous, Cliffords, Big Special (pictured) Oddball Slug, Master of the World, No Windows, Sam Ryder and KVK.

“The SXSW Music Festival offers a remarkable platform to discover talent from around the globe,” stated James Minor, Vice President of the Music Festival. “The magic lies in a diverse and thoughtfully curated program designed to help attendees uncover their next favorite song. For our second opening, we aim to continue this journey with an array of inspiring artists heading to Austin next March.”

The fresh lineup of performances will also showcase New Orleans’ lively icon Big Freedia, Dream Syndicate’s Steve Wynn, and Total Fucking Darkness, a new collaboration featuring Stars’ Torquil Campbell and Young Galaxy’s Steven Ramsey. Additionally, audiences can look forward to The Brooklyn Trapper, Emily Frembgen, and her new knife.
