Miles Smith wins prestigious award
Miles Smith has been honored with the BRIT Rising Star award for 2025, making him the first recipient to be announced at the upcoming ceremony.
A significant announcement
The announcement was made by Jack Saunders during BBC Radio 1's New Music programme, where Smith was chosen for this award, established by Gabriel Moses, outpacing other nominees such as Elmiena and Good Neighbors.
“Winning a BRIT award for Rising Star is such a surreal moment. Music has always been about connecting with people, and to see it resonate on such a level is incredible. I am so grateful to my team, my family, and especially the fans who supported me every step of the way. Your faith in me means everything. The BRIT’s Rising Star award has a prestigious history, with past winners including Adele, Sam Smith, Florence + The Machine, and The Last Dinner Party. The BRIT Awards 2025 with Mastercard is set to take place at the O2 Arena on 1 March and will be broadcast live on ITV1 and ITVX.
