Glass Animals Release Live Performance Video of “A Tear in Space” from The Gorge

Glass animals shared a new live video for “Rip in Space”filmed during their performance at the Gorge Amphitheater in Washington State.

The track, taken from their fourth album I Love You So F***ing Much, was performed in front of 30,000 fans in an outdoor venue during their recent tour of Earth.

“The live show is an unpredictable beast. We don't use backing tracks. Or click tracks. Every sound you hear is created by us with our fingers and breath, right in this moment, in a unique way.” Dave Bailey explains. “Sometimes it ends faster, sometimes slower, sometimes bigger, sometimes more intimate. Sometimes the melodies and chords change. Sometimes it's just chaos and we have to start all over again. But we thought it would be cool to release some of these slightly different live versions. And we'll start here, with A Tear in Space live from The Gorge. A natural amphitheater with a capacity of 30,000 people on the edge of a huge canyon in rural Washington. It's like a barren alien landscape, and building our venue (a spaceship called the International Shame Station) on the edge of a cliff… well, it felt like a magical place to perform the new album. It just fits. And… the crowd was incredible. And… we didn't screw it up too much.
