Upcoming Album Release
Desires is teasing their second album titled “Bastard,” which is set to release on June 13 via Sttt, with a new single “Data Tumor.”
About the New Single
The latest track from the trio in New York follows their previous single '87 GAS ' and showcases how the group is expanding its sound after a punk influence on their first full-length release since the 2020s.
Madison Welding Wangs elaborates on the themes of the new single: “Data Tumor” exists in a psychological push, attempting to affirm individuality within a world that aims to conform and distort it. The lifeless collective of information and incentives encourages the exercise of personal agency. The choice must be made, or it will be made for you.”
The album will also include tracks like “Void Meets Concrete,” “Data Tumor,” '87 GAS,” “Disposable Man,” “Everything Comes Right Away,” “Cruel,” “Too Tense,” “Mother-Lover,” “Feels Good,” “Explosions,” and “Does Not Need.”
