AEG Presents and Andrea Bocelli Collaborate on a Groundbreaking Live Performance Contract in Italian Music History

Exclusive Partnership With Andrea Bocelli

Live Events AEG Presents has signed an exclusive agreement with the legendary tenor Andrea Bocelli for the creation and management of public performances over the next five years.

The partnership, announced on Tuesday (May 6), begins on January 1, 2026, and encompasses all live performances by Bocelli across five continents. This was developed in collaboration with the Bocelli Management Team and the Talent Agency WME.

AEG described this as “the most significant agreement in the history of live performance within Italian music.”

Enhancing Collaboration with Universal Music Group

The deal “also strengthens cooperation with Universal Music Group, Bocelli’s long-standing recording label,” AEG stated.

“I personally traveled to Italy to meet Andrea at his home, as I wanted to understand both the individual and the artist before embarking on this journey,” said AEG Presents Chairman and CEO Jay Marciano.

“I am truly delighted to welcome him to our family and assist in elevating his artistry to new heights.”

Significance of the Collaboration

“When (Bocelli Co-Manager) Francesco (Pasker) reached out to discuss this vision, we instantly recognized the magnitude of this opportunity,” said WME Global Co-Head of Music Kirk Sommer and Senior Partner David Levy in a joint statement.

“We are incredibly proud to have collaborated closely with all parties to make this partnership a reality.

“Andrea Bocelli is not just a remarkable talent, but also a cultural ambassador, whose legacy continues to expand.”

With 90 million albums sold, he is the world’s top classical artist. He is perhaps best known for his 1995 hit Con Te Partirò, which became a global Top 40 sensation, reaching No. 1 on charts in France and Belgium.

The second version of the song, a duet with Sarah Brightman, sung partially in English and titled Time to Say Goodbye, was released in late 1996 and became a top 10 hit in numerous countries, including Germany and the UK.

Since then, Bocelli has released 15 albums across both pop and classical genres. His 2009 album My Christmas was the best-selling Christmas album in the USA that year.

“This extraordinary partnership marks a vital new chapter in Andrea’s global career,” stated Bocelli’s managers Veronica Berti and Francesco Pasker.

“We are thrilled to partner with such exceptional collaborators who not only embrace the challenge of this ambitious project but also demonstrate a profound commitment to an artistic vision. The coming decade will be crucial for establishing Maestro Bocelli as a global music icon, and we are honored to be part of this incredible family.”

“The next 10 years will be pivotal for consolidating Maestro Bocelli’s position in global music, and it is a great honor for us to join this wonderful family.”

For AEG, this collaboration with Bocelli follows last year’s acquisition of a stake in MCT Agentur, a concert company based in Germany, and its partnership with Cardenas Marketing Network (CMN) to create what these companies refer to as the “world leader in live Latin music.”
