This new single is released today (April 28) and marks the first new material from the artist since she launched her third album, “My Method Actor,” in September of the previous year.

About the Track

Although the song was conceived as an independent release, it was developed during the sessions for tracks Yanya revisited after her live performances, collaborating once again with her creative partner, Vilma Archer.

The track opens with a distinctive synthesizer melody, showcasing Yanya’s signature ethereal vocals that evoke a haunting sense of longing. Discussing the new release, Yanya remarked, “This song turned out to be completely different from what I anticipated. The original melody felt very expansive, as if there were endless possibilities. It felt like an experiment.”

According to the latest press release, fans can expect more announcements from the London singer-songwriter in the near future, along with a plethora of festival performances this summer.

These performances will include slots at Glastonbury, Primavera a la ciutat, Green Man, and All Points East. Last year, Yanya’s third album earned a glowing four-star review from NME, being described as “her most captivating listening experience.”
