Acoustic Set Highlights
The frontman performed an acoustic set at the Spookala Congress of Horror and Pop Culture in Tampa, Florida, earlier this month (April 5). He decided to start his performance with a clever teaser referencing one of this year’s most memed songs.
“I collected something very special,” he remarked. “I tried to change this, because I don’t do it anymore, so I wanted to do something special and get something that felt like a singalong. I’d like to know, would you help me sing a song? Well, this first one isn’t for me, but if you know it, let’s sing it together.”
With that, he launched into the opening lines of “TV OFF”: “All that I when I wanted was the Black Great National / Fuck, was rational,” before quickly transitioning to the violent version of “His Forest” from 1983. “No, wait, no. This is not how it goes,” he joked while navigating between the songs. “But this is a classic track.”

Upcoming Slipknot Tour
As for Slipknot, the metal group is set to embark on a European tour throughout June, starting at the Swedish festival in Sylvesborg, on June 4. They will make stops in Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, and Denmark. Their tour will conclude with performances at Barcelona’s Rock Fest and Viveiro ResurrectionFest. Find the remaining tickets here.
They completed a raucous show in London in December as part of their extensive 25th-anniversary tour. Taylor expressed to the crowd, “The first thing I want to tell you is how grateful we are, how much we value, and how much we love each and every one of you here in this building. 25 years ago, we released our very first Slipknot album, and many around the world really helped us, but no one brought us to this damn city and to this damn country. London, England will always be a home away from home.”
Meanwhile, Kendrick recently launched his grand tour with SZA, where both artists performed an impressive 52 songs from their entire discography.
