About The New Track

Today, April 25, Odell shared this track, marking the first release of new music from the singer-songwriter, with more expected in 2025. This release comes as he tours across Europe with Billie Eilish.

On this journey, Odell captures a romantic yet melancholic essence, reflecting on themes of love, life, and the longing that comes from heartbreak.

The song opens with a haunting, ethereal melody that sets the tone, followed by the singer’s soothing vocals. “We fell in love very quickly/something just clicked about us/maybe we were sick, hurt in our hearts/you touch me, and I fall apart,” he sings, building up to a powerful chorus.

“The building is filled with smoke/read me the poem that you wrote/it gives me hope, and this makes me strangle,” he continues. “I have a head in your palms/I look at the scars on your hands/do not let me go/I won’t let you go.“

Upcoming Tour Dates

The new track was recorded at London’s Rak Studios and serves as a first glimpse into his forthcoming full-length album, expected to be released later this year.

At the moment, Odell is on tour with pop star Billie Eilish, celebrating the release of her album “Hit Me Hard and Soft.” Their tour kicked off recently at the Avicii Arena in Stockholm with two shows.

Next month, they will perform in Amsterdam, Hannover, Berlin, and Cologne, wrapping up in June with shows in Prague, Krakow, Bologna, and Barcelona.

In addition to his shows with Billie Eilish, Odell also has North American headlining concerts planned for this year, covering cities like Washington, New York, and Philadelphia in May, with additional stops in Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, and more in September.
