Deluxe Edition Details

Shared today (April 25), this song celebrates the upcoming Deluxe Edition of ‘From Zero’, set to release on May 16. You can pre-order here. The new edition will feature multiple tracks that didn’t make it onto the original LP, which was released last year and marked the poignant moment following the tragic death of frontman Chester Bennington. Emily Armstrong from Sarah has since joined the group as the new singer.

The latest preview from the new material, included in “Unshatter,” is filled with thunderous riffs inspired by Shinoda’s vocals and features a grand choir designed for arena performances.

“Maybe I did it more complicated than it should have been/ Maybe I am mistaken, but it takes something out of me/ Maybe I am too patient because I was still waiting to see/ Take what you say and I think about reality,” – the lyrics resonate before Armstrong delivers the explosive chorus.

“There is not enough picture in which I tried to see myself in/ Without spending a promise that I could not believe/ I don’t know why we became so cold/ But my chest holds all my feelings/ Did not hit me.” Check out the song below.

Upcoming Performances and More

The first preview of new material for the Deluxe version was released last month when the band introduced an intense single called Up from the Bottom.

The 2025 From Zero release will also include previously unheard tracks and live versions of songs performed during the band’s extensive tour over the past few months.

The initial release of “From Zero” received a three-star review from NME, which described the album as an “intriguing mixture of sensational stadium rock and some tired song structures.”

“It is crucial that ‘From Zero’ be understood as a reset, as indicated by its title, paying tribute to the band’s former name: Xero,” it notes. “Thus, any inevitable comparisons with their rich discography should take into account the origins of ‘From Zero’: the organic desire of Brad Delson, Dave Farrell, Joe Hahn, and Shinoda to create together as Linkin Park.”

As part of their 2025 plans, Linkin Park will embark on more live performances featuring Armstrong as the vocalist.

The tour commenced in Asia in February and recently moved to the United States. More North American shows are scheduled in the coming months, followed by European and UK dates in mid-June, including a performance at Wembley Stadium on June 28.
