The Era of the Driver Releases New Album
The era of the driver has unveiled their fourth studio album ‘Obsession’, along with the release of a new video for their track “Weekend”.
Exploring Modern Relationships
The ALT-POP duo, featuring the Ross and Rocky Brothers, has delivered a collection of 11 tracks that delve into the intricacies of modern relationships, blending electric riffs, synthesizers, and drums.
“The era of obsession began last year when we started compiling many of these songs in a note on our phones,” the group shares. “We gathered all these songs we loved into a folder we called ‘obsession’. It reflected our feelings – we crafted these songs with immense love and dedication.
On the track “Weekend”, Ross Lynch comments: “This song embodies the energy and obsession with making the most of our time, highlighting that the weekend represents cultural freedom. You have two days to do whatever you desire. I think that symbolizes an album, and culturally, we’re all gravitating towards everything we want during the weekend.”
