Previous ticket sales statistics
Last year, coach and ticket resale options sold out in just 18 minutes, while general admission tickets sold out in 22 minutes. It was noted that Glastonbury 2024 achieved “the highest percentage of ticket balances paid in history,” indicating that there were “very limited” tickets available for resale, according to festival representative Emily Ivis.
Fans expressed frustration over the lengthy queue for 2025 resale, with many requesting a return to the old ticket purchasing system, where users had to frequently refresh the page to improve their chances. One user on X said, “Return to manual update, please. At least I feel that I am actively improving my sad chances.”

Others were annoyed when they found themselves stuck with two green bars in line, while some approached the front only to be faced with the disheartening “sold out” notification. Below are some reactions from attendees.

Festival dates and lineup
True to tradition, the 2025 Glastonbury festival will occur on the last weekend of June, from Wednesday, June 25, to Sunday, June 29, at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset.
Emily Eavis recently confirmed a break in 2026, stating that “the land needs rest,” suggesting that after the 2025 festival, there will be a hiatus before Glastonbury returns in 2027.
As for performers, it has been announced that Neil Young will headline the Pyramid stage as part of his world tour “Love Earth with Chrome Hearts.” Although initially stepping back from Glastonbury due to a “corporate shutdown” linked to the festival’s partnership with the BBC, he later clarified that it was a “mistake in the received information.” This will mark his second headlining role since his debut appearance in 2009.
The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo are also confirmed as headliners, along with acts like Loyle Carner (Friday), Charlie XCX (Saturday), and Wunderkind (Sunday). Rod Stewart will claim the coveted legend slot on the Pyramid stage on Sunday afternoon.
Other prominent names slated to perform include Biffy Clyro, The Maccabees, Lucy Dusk, Father John Misty, Ray, Wolf Alice, The Prodigy, Doechii, St. Vincent, Deftones, Scissor Sisters, The Libertines, and Wet Leg.
Last year’s festival saw performances from Dua Lipa, Coldplay, and SZA, alongside memorable sets from Shania Twain, Little Simz, Fontaines D.C., and IDLES.
