Cassyette Launches Deluxe Edition of Debut Album Featuring New Single “Phantom Limb”

Luxurious album release

Cassyette has unveiled a deluxe edition of her debut album “This World Still Thugware Sucks,” featuring a new single titled “Phantom Limb” through 23 notes.

Expanded tracklist and collaborations

The 19-track deluxe edition enhances her 40th debut album in the UK, “This World Fucking Sucks,” featuring a new single and noteworthy contributions, including a collaboration with Lady Gaga. The edition also includes a cut version of “When It Told Me” and an extended take on “Sex Metal.”

“Phantom limb syndrome represents a chronic condition where individuals experience sensations in a missing limb. Someone I know who endured this condition and I discussed how the body retains pain and grows accustomed to certain emotions, whether mental or physical. Even when the catalyst is no longer present, those feelings can still be intensely felt,” Cassyette shares about her new single.

“A ghostly limb signifies the experience of leaving a toxic relationship with someone who never truly loved you. Being outside of that toxicity, yet my body clung to residual feelings and emotional pain for an extended period. I felt the need to retrain my entire existence.”

This album, created in collaboration with Tylr Rydr, Olli Berden, and Olivia Sebastianelli, includes previously released tracks “Friends in Low Places,” “Ipecac,” “Over It,” and “Why Do I Love This?”.

To celebrate this release, Cassyette is launching Degenerette, a unique night designed as an alternative and LGBTQIA+ club experience, set to occur at Brighton’s Club Meting on April 19.
