Conan’s Viral Moment on BBC
Conan from Krept & Konan went viral after his disastrous appearance on BBC The Weakest Link. Check this below.
Episode Highlights and Reactions
The episode, which aired on BBC One on April 12, featured contestants Keat Duffy, Rachel Riley, Amy Gledkhill, Ching Juan, Rori Bremner, Bonnie Langford, and Chris Harris competing alongside Konan for a potential prize of ÂŁ50,000 for their charity.
Almost two weeks after the broadcast, social media users critiqued what many considered a poorly executed performance by the Southern London rapper.
Clips shared on X and TikTok showed Konan stumbling over what fans deemed “simple” questions. His trouble began when host Romesh Ranganathan asked him: “What is eight divided by four?” to which Conan responded “four” when the correct answer was actually two.
Next, he was asked when one might use the phrase “many happy returns.” He guessed Christmas, unaware that it usually pertains to birthdays. Later, when asked how many languages a bilingual person can speak, he guessed “multiple,” while the correct answer is actually two.
As the round progressed, participants were asked to vote for their “weakest link.” However, when the camera focused on Conan, he inadvertently said his own name instead of a competitor’s, prompting jokes from viewers on social media: “The Bratan almost voted for himself.”
Since then, he has shared clips on his TikTok page with the caption: “The pressure made me blank, I promise you, I know the answers.”

In other news, earlier this year, Krept & Konan launched their third studio album “Young Kingz II,” a follow-up to their record-setting project “Young Kingz,” marking their first independent release in a decade.
In an NME interview last November, the duo stated that this album represents a “full circle” for them as a group.
“When we were independent, we released a project that changed our lives. Now we’ve returned independently 10 years after that initial release, and the themes—growth, reflecting on life, where we are now, losses, loved ones—remain the same. This is meant to be a continuation of the ‘Young Kings.’”
Additionally, in February, they launched SaveWays, the UK’s first large-scale supermarket tailored to the needs of Black, Asian, and ethnic communities.
