Post Malone Closes Coachella 2025
The post of Malone closed the second and last weekend Coachella 2025, and Ed Shiran and jelly joined him. Watch the frames below.
Malone headlined the main stage at Coachella for the second time on Sunday (April 21), delivering a career-spanning set featuring his greatest hits alongside new songs infused with country vibes.
Special Guests and Tour Announcement
To wrap up the California festival in 2025, Malone welcomed Ed Shiran, who joined him for the hit “Sunflower”—taking the place of the original collaborator, Swae Lee. Shiran played acoustic guitar while Malone expressed his surprise, saying, “Holy fuck, when he walked on stage,” adding, “I didn’t even know he was here tonight.”
Later, Jelly Roll joined Malone onstage for “Loser,” a track from Malone’s 2024 LP, ‘F-1 Trillion.’ Malone also used this moment to promote his upcoming stadium tour, set to begin on April 29, featuring Jelly Roll as the opening act.
“I am damn grateful to go on a tour with the kindest soul like you,” Malone said. “From the moment I met you, I knew you had the biggest heart in the universe. Thank you for being here tonight; I can’t wait to put on a great show. You’re the greatest bastard in the world.”

Notably, Morgan Wallen was absent, which was referenced in Malone’s latest single “I Am Not Returning” released on Friday (April 18).
Malone confirmed that he has “probably made 35 songs” for a new record, stating that it’s now a matter of deciding which songs make the cut. He mentioned that he “absolutely will not” debut any new material during his two headlining sets.
Currently working with Scratch Vocals, he indicated that the group has cut several songs. “I usually hate listening to my own music, but hearing the band’s performance, I’m so excited,” he shared.
Diving into the success of his previous project “F-1 Trillion,” where he collaborated with artists like Dolly Parton, Tim McGraw, and Luke Combs, he will embark on his first stadium tour this year, the “Big World Tour” alongside Jelly Roll. Having released albums annually since 2022’s “Twelve Karata – Treasury Pain,” he recently teased: “I hope we will have several musical releases very, very soon.”
He had previously closed the first weekend of Coachella with a career-spanning set featuring his biggest hits and new songs infused with country influences. Malone’s appearance at Coachella took place just before the release of his 2025 album, where he also acted as an ambassador at an event in the United States. Prior to that, he was seen reuniting with Nirvana for their SNL 50: Return Home concert.
