Last night (April 20), the guitarist from Thrash Metal graced the second day of the annual Wrestlemania event, where he discussed his collaboration with Damian Priest.

Musical Highlights at Wrestlemania

The track titled “Rise for the Night” was produced by Def Rebel, a duo known for creating original music for WWE since 2019. Kerry King contributed his guitar prowess to the song.

King initiated his performance with a brief solo before diving into the track, as Damian Priest made an entrance surrounded by flames. Check out the performance below.

Kerry King wasn’t the only musical act at Wrestlemania this year, which took place in Las Vegas. On Saturday (April 19), the rock band Living Colour performed their hit song “Cult of Personality,” famously associated with wrestler CM Punk. This marked the second occasion of the song’s performance at Wrestlemania during Punk’s entrance.

Travis Scott and WWE Events

At the conclusion of the main event on Wrestlemania (April 20), rapper Travis Scott, who recently joined WWE, made a surprising appearance during the WWE championship match between John Cena and Cody Rhodes, assisting Cena in his victory.

This marked Scott’s latest appearance in WWE, having previously been involved as an accomplice to John Cena and The Rock in an attack on Cody Rhodes in February. Recently, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson mentioned that Scott has been training for his anticipated debut in the ring.

Over recent years, an increasing number of musicians, influencers, and actors have expressed their interest in WWE. In 2023, Bad Bunny headlined the event after debuting in 2021. Recently, Charlotte Flair, daughter of WWE legend Ric Flair, shared her thoughts on Bad Bunny’s career: “He was incredible every time he appeared. You can genuinely see his love for the industry and how he respects it and puts in the effort. So fame.”
