♬ Relationship – Haim

Haim returned last month with a new R&B-influenced single titled “Relationships.” Shortly thereafter, they released another track: “Everyone is Trying to Understand Me.”

Both songs are set to feature on the group’s upcoming fourth album, which, as they express, showcases their “Rock Sound.” This new record will follow their 2020 release, “Women in Music, III.”

The upcoming LA gigs are part of their planned performances at Big Weekend Radio 1 2025 and Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Porto. One of their last concerts was their headlining slot at All Points East in London in 2023.

In a recent interview, Haim disclosed that their new record will feature a non-insightful sample from George Michael’s 90s work.

The song in question, called “Gone,” is expected to serve as a newcomer to the album, reportedly reflecting a sense of clarity following a breakdown. The album will also include a track titled “Take Me Back.”

Alana Haim mentioned in an interview with i-D that this upcoming album is “the closest we’ve come to how we want to sound,” noting that this time it was a “completely different experience.”

Haim collaborated once again with producer Rostam Batmanglij (Vampire Weekend, Clairo). Reflecting on this process, Daniel stated: “Working with Rostam, in general, is very quick, kinetic, which I really love as an artist. Perhaps before it was not so; it felt longer, a search, a laborious situation.”

Meanwhile, frontman Daniel Haim teamed up with Bon Iver on her recent single “If I Could Just Wait.”
