Ball Park Music Joins Oasis Tour

The iconic Australian indie band Ball Park Music has been officially announced as a special guest for Oasis’s upcoming reunion tour.

On the evening of April 16, Oasis and Live Nation Australia took to social media to announce that Ball Park Music will open for all five of their reunion shows in Australia at the end of this year.

Excitement for Upcoming Shows

Ball Park Music expressed their excitement on Instagram, stating: “You can say I’m hype, but it’s true that we will support the Mancunian legends, the one and only Oasis during their monumental reunion tour when they visit Australia this year. To say we’re thrilled is an understatement. We cannot wait!”

The Oasis shows will take place in Australia from October 31 to November 8, with three performances at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne and two sold-out shows at Accor Stadium in Sydney. The shows on October 31 and November 1 in Melbourne are sold out, and limited tickets remain for the final show on November 4 – You can get the remaining tickets here.

Supporting Acts and Tour Details

Ball Park Music is the latest act announced to support Oasis on their reunion tour. Previous support acts included Cast and Richard Ashcroft for the UK and Ireland concerts, while Cage The Elephant will back them in North America and Mexico.

Details regarding the supporting acts for the group’s South American dates have yet to be revealed.

In anticipation of this monumental reunion tour, which begins on July 4 in Cardiff, sources close to the band informed NME that the lineup will include Andy Bell, Gem Archer, Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs, and Chris Sharrock, alongside Noel and Liam Gallagher.

The addition of Ball Park Music to Oasis’s Australia tour comes shortly after the Australian indie heroes released their latest album, Like Love, which debuted at number one in the country’s charts.

“Like Love” is the eighth studio album from the Australian group, marking their first album to reach the top spot on the ARIA album chart, making them the first Australian act to lead the ARIA album charts this year.
