Hartlepool Band Marketplace Unveils New Romantic Single “Contact Sports” Ahead of EP Release

New EP Release Information

Market teases their upcoming EP “The market means business,” set to release on June 6, alongside a new video for “Contact sports.”

About the Single “Contact Sports”

Their latest single, “Five-Peace,” crafted by Chad Rogers, follows support performances with Alfie Templeman, Swim DeP, the lottery winners, and Abby Ozard.

Regarding “Contact sport,” Evi Roads explains, “We drew significant inspiration for this track from bands like The Beths and their clever, heartfelt love songs that maintain a light-hearted approach. The song reflects a narrative of a breakup; it encapsulates an inner dialogue so we aimed to capture that delicate balance of subtle seriousness.”
