SZA Launches ‘Not Beauty’: A New Vegan Lip Collection Featuring Three Signature Shades

SZA has announced the launch of Not Beauty, a new vegan and cruelty-free beauty brand, making its debut with the LIPS collection available exclusively in pop-up stores during the Grand National Tour at Kendrick Lamar Field.

Initial Launch Details

The initial launch features three signature shades: “In the Flesh”, “Strawberry Jelly”, and “Quartz”, with plans to expand the collection to include lip gloss, lip stains, lip liners, and lip creams. The collection focuses on creating moisturizing, long-lasting formulas, with an initial price point of £23.

Brand Inspiration and Philosophy

“It’s not beauty that I tried to enter the beauty market; it’s about satisfying a need. I wanted something that would last through my show and conversations, something I had long been searching for,” explains SZA. “There was nothing out there that catered to me and also kept my lips moisturized. While I may not know everything, I certainly know a lot about lips, and I feel that Not Beauty transcends traditional beauty. It’s simply what I wanted to share—what has worked for me, and I hope it works for you. It’s fantastic. It’s amazing.”

The aesthetic of the brand draws inspiration from nature, incorporating elements like wooden textures, plants, insects, and natural hues in their packaging design. All products in this collection are cruelty-free, gluten-free, vegan, and meet Sephora’s clean beauty standards.

Pop-up stores will be accessible to all fans, regardless of concert ticket status, with locations to be announced through the brand’s social media channels.
