This comes after the singer began hinting at new material towards the end of last year, deactivating her social media accounts, which led fans to believe that a new chapter was on its way. She even shared a one-second snippet of new music along with photos of herself in the studio, captioning: “She will contact.”

Teasers and Performances

The clues continued into 2025 when the singer temporarily took down her website and posted a brief clip on TikTok at the start of this month. In the video, she strolled through Washington Square Park in New York while listening to a new track featuring the lines: “From the age of 17, I gave you everything/ now we wake up from a dream, well, baby, what was it?/ What was it?

Now, the Royals singer has sent a new voice note to fans, confirming that “all this one will change” very soon.

During her performance at Coachella 2025 last weekend, where she surprised fans by joining Charlie XCX on stage for the “Girlfriend So Confusing” remix, Lord expressed that this experience made her feel “so real and so solid.”

“I feel everything that I shed in order to be able to be in the same spirit,” she added, explaining her desire to communicate and share the update with fans.

“I just wanted to say greetings because everything is to change. These are really the last moments when it is only us, that madness,” she added. “This is so right. I’m so ready. In addition to resetting the voice note that fans can find in the post above, Lord has also updated her biography on Spotify, suggesting that new music will be released later this month.

After the reset of all her website information and social media platforms, her Spotify biography now states: “04.25”—indicating that new music may drop on April 25.

As mentioned earlier, these updates arise from ongoing speculation since 2023. Besides sharing a brief second of new music, Lord hinted in a social media post that she has been working on new material. She promised fans she would show them something in 2023, writing: “No, this is not the beginning of something -liba, I just want you to know that there is light inside me… show me it soon.”
