Song Details and Lyrics
The clip, shared during an Instagram live stream over the weekend, features Skryg and includes a Twitter post listing 16 song titles that could appear on her next LP.
The 30-second preview of “Jealous Type” showcases a pulsating, flickering pop vibe with an 80s production style, as Doja sings: “Boy, let me know if it’s careless / I could be torn between two roads that I just can’t decide / which one leads me to hell or paradise? / Baby, I can’t hurt you, but I’m a jealous type.
Doja confirmed the lyrics in a post on X on Sunday (April 13) – see the clip for “Jealous Type” in the post below.
Boy, let me know if it is casually, I
can be torn between two roads that I simply cannot decide
Which of them leads me to hell or paradise
I can’t hurt you, but I’m a jealous type
He loves me
But he cannot hold it over me
When my eyes are green, I am ugly

“Do not ask me where there is RN CREK,” she noted in her post. This follows a similar announcement she made in November, where she hinted at 13 song titles, including Crack. No official details regarding the status or contents of the album have been confirmed yet.
Last month, she also dropped a joint track with Jack Harlowe titled “Just the USA,” which featured a star-studded video with appearances from Matt Damon, John Mayer, Pincanterass, and Subsequence actor Nicholas Brown.
Doja’s last album, Scarlet, was released in 2023 and received a three-star review from NME: “All this adds to the overlapping, slightly repeating, but ultimately convincing album of two halves … Nevertheless, at this stage, there is no doubt that Doja expressed her point of view – that she should not be anything but herself.”
She also performed at the Oscars in March, singing “Diamonds Are Forever” as part of a tribute to James Bond. Doja later admitted to feeling nervous and said she “hit several notes” during the performance.
