The “Dirty” singer and NME Cover Star took to the Mojave stage, and her social media posts indicated she was facing challenges due to illness during her set.
“I am either fainting or throwing up, one of them should happen,” she expressed to the audience. “Guys, tell me that I have it.”
She later remarked: “I feel a little sick, so if I do, I apologize; please do not post it online.” Further clips revealed her sipping water and touching her throat while battling through the performance.

Setlist and Recent Success
During her performance, Young featured tracks from her upcoming 2024 album “This This Want Want Want for You,” including two new songs—a yet-to-be-named track that will serve as her next single and a song titled “Spider.”
Lola Young played:
'Good Books'
'I Wish You to Be Dead'
'Walk To'
'I Don't Hate Me'
'You Noticed'
(New Song)
'Big Brown Eyes'
'Spiders'
'Sloppy'
'Conceited'
As of the first week of April, “Messy” has emerged as the most successful song of 2025 in the UK, achieving 597,000 chart units in the first quarter and topping the charts for four consecutive weeks after its January debut.
Commenting on the song’s success during the red carpet at the Brit Awards, she stated to NME: “I believe this conveys that you don’t have to conform to stereotypes of how women should act. It resonates with everyone who feels inadequate. ”

Young also responded to claims labeling her as “not authentic” and an “industry product,” following her collaboration with Julia Donaldson, the author of Gruffalo.
“What kind of nonsense is this?” she said. “I have so much to say but can’t always express it. I’m not a manufactured product; this is my own creativity. To those who want to criticize me online: find something better to do with your time.”
During Coachella 2025’s opening weekend, other notable performances included Lady Gaga’s theatrical set and AG Cook featuring Danny Brown with his remixes of Charlie XCX’s ‘Party 4 U.’
Charlie XCX celebrated her highly anticipated performance with guests Lorde, Billie Eilish, and Troye Sivan, while the set of NOTEECAP sparked discussions after singing anti-Margaret Thatcher songs that reportedly disrupted the online stream.
YouTube will broadcast the festival through the Coachella YouTube Channel. Stay tuned for more updates from Coachella.
