New EP Announcement
Sunday (1994) has announced the release of their second EP, 'Devotion', set to debut on May 9 through RCA. The group has also unveiled a new single, 'Rain', which will be the second track featured on the upcoming project.
Group’s Statement on Devotion
“We are delighted to introduce Devotion, our second EP, the feverish satellite of our first. Each song in this conversation either conspires or continues the narrative from before. We will remain silent on which track is more divine. What is the psalm for the disappointed, or … whatever you desire,” the group stated.
Regarding the song “Rain,” Sunday (1994) elaborated: “Devotion, so profound, skirts the edges of death, where love clings to the remnants of crime and its consequences. If destiny necessitates suffering, let it be shared; whether it be in the hands of a lover or behind prison bars.”
This EP follows the band’s self-titled debut, released last year, with “Rain” joining the previously released single “Doomsday” in the six-track collection. The complete tracklist for “Devotion” includes: “Devotion”, “Judgment Day”, “Rain”, “Still Blue”, “Collects Flowers”, and “Silver Ford”.
